Gaming Fingers
Gaming Fingers. "But what is it?" You may be asking. I play computer video games often. And what do a lot of them have in common? WASD. Yes. WASD. A lot of games have the same keyboard moves. For example: A lot of games use the keys WASD for moving, and the space bar for jumping. Pretty basic and very common. It wasn't until recently that I noticed that whenever I reach a keyboard, (computer keyboard not piano, of course) my left hand automatically assumes the formation of resting on WASD . It's as if my hand is ready at any moment to play some Minecraft or Overwatch. So how did this happen? Did I game too much during the ages where most kids would learn proper keyboarding techniques? Have my fingers gotten so used to the gaming format that anything else is considered subconsciously uncomfortable? I still type at an accurate and quick pace.
